Hi everyone!
I haven't done a post in a very long time... I have been very busy lately... :(
I would like to do post on some new makeup products I bought the other day... They are from ELF and they are excellent! I bought one of there palettes which was only $12.99 and it's so wonderful! It's got a great selection of neutral and natural eyeshadows like brown, peaches, and nudes; Purples, Blues and greens... With matte and shimmer eyeshadows.
If you want some great eyeshadows, but want a selection of everything... Definately go for ELF...
I've done a lot of looks with this eyeshadow palette. It even has a mirror with it lol!

Simple Brown/Gold Glamour Eye
This is a really great simple look! I like it because it's not so full on, and I mostly use white eyeshadow to really brighten up my face, I only used to 2 eyeshadows for this look! So it's perfect for someone, who doesn't wanna use 30 products on their face, just to go to work etc.
Products:
- Dark brown and white eyeshadow (both matte)
- Eye primer
- Face primer
- Foundation and concealer
- Makeup brushes
- Face powder
- Lipstick and lipliner
- Brow pencil
- Black eye pencil
- Australis face primer
- Nyx eye primer
- Inglot eyeshadow
- Revlon colourstay foundation in Nude
- Innoxa translucent powder
- Max Factor - Bronzer
- Rimmel lipstick - Nude
- Rimmel lipliner - Nude
- Australis lipgloss - Nude
- Rimmel brow pencil - Dark Brown
2. I then use my black eyeliner, and apply a thin line on top eye line, I use a small flat angled brush to blend the black, as I want a smooth smokey effect like in the pictures above. I apply 2 coats of mascara to my top and bottom lash line.
3. I apply my face primer, with my foundation brush all over my face including under my chin and jawline. I then wait for the primer, to set on my face and then I apply my foundation in a downswards motion I wait for the first layer to set and then I apply my second layer. Using a medium flat brush, or your fingers/sponge, apply your concealer to areas most needed such as under your eyes, nose, and t-zone. I apply my face powder with my large brush, to all areas of my face and under chin/jawline.
4. I apply my bronzer with a slanted/angled large brush or a blush brush, whatever you choose or have. I apply my bronzer where the middle of my ear is until my eye begins, and about an inch under where my eye is.
5. Using your brow pencil, fill in and outline your natural eyebrows, if need be using a eyeshadow of the same colour of your eyebrows and apply with a small angled brush. Using your lip liner in the colour of your choice, outline your entire lips and fill them in, this will give more longevity and staying power, using your lip liner brush apply 3 coats of lipstick, and if need be apply lipgloss over the top or using a large fluffy brush apply translucent powder over your lipstick for staying power.
I hope you enjoy this look, because I absolutely love it!!

Purple and White Glamour Eye!
I haven't been on recently as I have been sick with the cold... :(
Here is one of my new looks I recently did myself, so I thought I would share with you guys! It's a purple and white glamour eye and it's beautiful!
Products:
1. Cleanse and moisturise your face, you always wanna start with a clean face! I then apply my eye primer to my whole lid, even my bottom line! You wanna then use a medium fluffy brush and apply the white eyeshadow over your entire eyelid, and just above your crease. I then use the same brush with the purple eyeshadow, and I create "c" shape on my outer corner (please check out the photos!) I make sure I blend this just above my crease to make my eyes stand out!
2. I apply my black gel liner, in a cat eye effect. Make sure when doing gel liner, you start off small with the flicks, as you don't want your gel liner to look thick. I then apply a small amount of black pencil to my bottom rim, and using a small flat brush I gently blend till about the middle of my bottom rim. I then apply my mascara about 2x on my top and bottom lashes.
3. Apply your face primer with your foundation brush, all over your face including neck (well I do), I apply my foundation in a downwards motion, I always apply a layer first and wait for it too set and then I apply my 2nd layer. I then apply my concealer, near my nose, under my eyes and even on my t-zone area. I then apply my face powder with my big powder brush!
4. Using my blush brush, I apply my blush or bronzer from where the middle of your ear is until where your ear begins, about a inch from where it is. Remember to blend your bronzer or your blush, as it doesn't look nice really out there! I then, fill in my brows using my brow pencil, I follow the natural outline and then fill them in with eyeshadow the same colour!
5. Using your lipliner, outline your natural lip line and then fill in your natural lips and then using a lip brush, apply your lipstick with about 2-3 coats, and sometimes if I want to make my lipstick last longer, I will use translucent powder.

Great cheap brands!
Here are some great cheap brands! For women, who don't want to pay $100's expensive makeup brands, when you can buy the same product just a different price tag and name!
One of my favourite brands that is a great price and you can get quality products is Rimmel, I love their lipsticks they are moisturising, come in pigmented colours and last reasonably long! They have great eyeliners, brow pencils, bronzers and many wonderful goodies at a great price!
Australis has some great products to offer to you, especially in palettes and great primers, foundations. I really love there primer and I use it on myself, it's in gel form but it leaves a cool feeling on your skin. They have great lipsticks, especially in bright colours and nudes and neutral shades. What I also love is there concealer corrector, it's so hard to find them sometimes, unless you really go to a professional makeup brand like Ben Nye, Temptu etc...
E.L.F = Eyes lips face are wonderful, they represent some great products for the modern woman, I love their palettes and their eyeshadows are great, they have great neutral and pink shaded eyeshadows which I love. They are so versitile to use, and most women prefer a natural look. They have beautiful products, except they don't offer many products which suck :(
Inglot is another of my favourite brands, they have foundations that are going at about $37 which is great, which come in a huge range from powder foundation, cream to powder, and liquid foundation. If you are looking for some great mascara's, eyeshadows and blushes. This is the place to go!
Another great famous brand is Revlon, they have beautiful lipstick shades, in many different colours! They have beautiful foundations in many different shades, they are known for their great products and such a large variety, there is nothing better then having a lot of products to choose from!
There are many other great brands, such as Essence, Max Factor, Maybelline, Bourjoi's etc. I've tried many different products over the last fews, and some of them have great foundations and not very good other products! But these cosmetic houses are great!

Inglot Eyeshadow Reviews!
I love Inglot eyeshadows, and the reason I do is that they are large, they come in many different colours and different bases such as matte, shimmery, glitter etc.
I find it so hard, as a makeup artist to find matte colours, because the colours are deep and pigmented, I often find shimmery based ones don't always stand out and you've got to keep applying.
If you go into a Inglot stores, you will notice how much of range of colours they have... They have neutral colours, bright colours and dark colours, pressed eyeshadows, powder eyeshadows, glitter etc. And they come in big eyeshadows, and you can put them in your own eyeshadow palettes OR you can use their palettes.
My favourite eyeshadows of the Inglot range are matte, neutral colours I find I use them a lot of myself and my clients, and they always LOOK great, they come in colours from light nude all the way to dark chocolate brown.
They also have bright colours such as purple, black, blue, green, teal, orange, pink and heaps more. And you can get these colours in shimmery, glitter or matte pigments.
I can not find any negatives with the eyeshadows, because they have such a LARGE range too choose from, so if you are looking for cheap eyeshadows $10 each this is the best place to get them. They are high pigment, not chalking, even texture and great colours!

Black Smokey eye!
Here is a simple black smokey eye, that doesn't look overly powerful! Nothing worse then wearing too much black, you look like a zombie lol! I just used black on this colour, because in when I was training at my makeup collage, I always taught that a smokey eye is one colour all over.
What you need:
2. Next I use a black pencil eyeliner, and I cover my top and inner rim and my bottom rim too, I then use small flat brush, and I blend it into the eyeshadow. Next use your mascara and apply 2 to 3 coats on both top and bottom a, if you would like too apply eyelashes, by all means do so!
3. Next using either your foundation brush or fingers apply your face primer, then wait about 2 minutes for it too set, and then apply your foundation in a downsward motion. Wait for the first layer to set, and then apply another layer. I find sometimes, a great foundation has enough coverage that you don't need concealer; if you do need concealer please do so, to areas you need.
4. Apply your powder too all areas of your face, right up too the hairline and down to under your jawline, I normally use white translucent powder as it won't affect your foundation colour and it will stay longer, without heavy application of powder. Always apply with your powder brush.
5. Next using a slanted blush brush or a blush brush, apply your blush or bronzer too your cheekbones, which start from about the middle of where your ear is until about an 4cm's under where your ear begins. If you find it too hard to find your cheekbones, suck them in!
6. Next apply your lip liner and lipstick, make sure your lips are clean and even to begin with, and follow your natural lip line, trace around and fill them in, using a lip brush apply 2-3 coats of your lipstick!
7. Don't forget too fill in your brows with a brow pencil and brow eyeshadows or just eyeshadows, follow your natural eyebrow line, with a brow pencil and then using a flat small brush or a slanted brush fill in your brows with eyeshadows. If you would like to use a clear mascara or brow gel it will keep your eyebrow hairs in place.
*Another reminder, if you do find that your foundation can't last as long because you sweat too much, try using a final seal spray. I use Ben Nye final seal spray on my clients and myself!
What you need:
- Eye primer and Face primer
- Black matte and dark brown eyeshadow
- Mascara
- Black gel eyeliner
- Blush (preferably pink)
- Your foundation and powder
- Your lip liner and lipstick
- Brow pencil
- Black eye pencil (optionable)
- Concealer
- Essence eye primer
- Australis face primer
- Mac eyeshadow - Carbon (Black)
- Mica Bella mascara
- Inglot gel liner - Black
- Natio blush - Pink
- Avon Mineral liquid foundation - Nude
- Innoxa Translucent powder - Fair
- Rimmel lipstick - In Vogue
- Rimmel brow pencil - Dark brown
- Mac eye pencil - Black
- Inglot and NYX concealer.

Caramel Smokey Eye!
I've spoken to a lot of women before, whilst doing their makeup etc. And most of them admit, that doing a smokey eye is hard because of the dark colours you use. Black is one of the colours that if you add to much to your eye, you look like someone punched you there lol. Remember, smokey eyes don't have to be pitch black.
If you start with a soft brown, soft purple etc it will be easier and you don't have to worry about the black going EVERYWHERE.
What you need:
2. Apply your eye primer with a small concealer brush OR your finger, and apply all the over your lid, and I apply sometimes up too the eyebrow. Using a small fluffy brush, apply the caramel brown shade to your eyelid, and just over your crease. Using the dark brown shade, and the same brush, create a "C" shape in your outer corner then softly blend that.
3. Using a soft slanted fine brush, apply your eyeliner from your inner corner to your out corner, no cat eye effect. I also apply the same eyeliner to my top inner rim, just under your lashes, makes it look even, and no skin shows.
4. Next apply 1 to 2 coats of mascara to both your top and bottom lashes, especially with the look with a look like this, you want your bottom eyelashes to show! If you would like to apply eyelashes, I will be making a post on how to apply eyelashes.
5. Next apply your face primer with either your hands or foundation brush. I wait about 2-3 minutes for it too set and then I apply my foundation in a downwards motion with my foundation brush, I wait for the first layer to set, you can often use your brush to dab or use a sponge just to make sure their are NO lines. Also don't forget your concealer, to areas most needed on your face. Apply another layer, and then I use a white translucent powder to set my foundation.
6. Next using your bronzer or blush, and your blush brush or slanted blush brush, apply from the middle of your ear to where your ear begins, apply this in a motion of your natural cheekbones. I will be doing a post on blush and contouring and highlighting your face.
7. Next using a lip liner, line and fill in your lips this will keep the lipstick from smudging, I always make sure my lips are clean to begin with, you don't want foundation on them as that will make it cakey and uneven. Next using a lip brush, fill in your entire lips with your lipstick, apply 2 - 3 coats.
8. Don't forget your eyebrows of course, I normally use a brow pencil to shape my eyebrows and fill them in, I always find that using a eyeshadow is a lot better in filling them in, pencils are good for shaping but not for filling.

Essence I love Stage Eyeshadow Primer Review
I haven't posted much this week! I'm currently away from my house, but when I get back I will be having 2 new looks for you guys! Please stay tuned.
I wanted to do a review on a product that I LOVE and is very cheap! I would find eye makeup very hard to apply if I didn't have this product. -round of applause- .....It's the "Essence I love stage eyeshadow primer"
There are no negatives this product, well not for me of course :D it's cheap and the best part about it, is it will not have any creasing and it will not affect your eyeshadow colour.
First thing, DO not apply a lot of eyeshadow primer it will crease it doesn't matter if it cost you $50 or $3, too much product will go crumbly and creasy. So try to dab a little bit on, one little dab of your finger should be sufficient.
This product is creamy and is nude colour, it's not white like some eyeshadow primers I have used. Even if it's a shade darker or lighter, once you apply your eyeshadow you should not be able to see it. It's creamy which I love too, and moveable there is nothing worse to have a makeup product that will not move.
I can use this product and know it will have longevity and that's what is important, it brings out the colour and it doesn't change the colour.
Let me know if you have tried this product and if it worked for you!!

Foundation Review!
Avon Mineral Liquid Foundation!
I'm lucky enough to have good skin, even when I was a teenager I didn't have too many pimples! I had greasy skin, lol. But overall good... I've gotten older now, and I'm nearly 21. And the only problem I have with foundations is coverage, I think a foundation with a good coverage and isn't too liquidy.
I really like the Avon Mineral Liquid Foundation, I use the colour Nude which is perfect for me, it's got a great consistency it's not like sludge and it's not like water, it's yellow based which is even better... They don't seem to have too many nude or neutral foundation tones.
I probably wouldn't use this if you have oily skin, but even so you really shouldn't use ANY liquid foundation if you have oily skin.
Now, the Avon foundation which I love is it doesn't try quickly, I hate foundations when you apply them and in 3 seconds they dry and crumble on your face. YUCKIE!
Overall, I think that this foundation and other Avon foundations are great!

Purple glamour eye!
This is a versatile and beautiful makeup! You can lighten it or darken, and it suits anyone and everybody. I use this on clients, and on myself, because I know it's a classic and they'll love it!
What you need:
1. Cleanse and moisturise your face, removing any makeup residue and dirt.
2.Apply your eye primer with your fingers or sponge, next using a small fluffy brush cover your entire eyelid just above your creaseline in your purple eyeshadow. Using that same colour and brush, apply to your bottom eye. Then using that same brush, use your black eyeshadow too create a small "c" shape in your outer corner, blend it! Using a slanted flat brush, and your black gel eyeliner start from your inner corner in small strokes to your outer corner, creating a cat eye effect.
3. Apply 1-2 coats of mascara, to both your bottom and top eyelashes. If you want too apply your eyelashes, you can do so, they are quite fiddly the first few goes, and there are good videos on youtube which you can find. I will do a post later!
4. Using your foundation brush, apply your face primer all over your face. Using that same brush, apply your foundation in big strokes, in a downs-ward motion. Wait for the first layer to set and then apply a second layer.
5. Using your powder brush, apply your powder to your face. This will help set the foundation, and keep it from staying longer. You can spray on Ben Nye Final Seal, which is waterproof and heat resistant!
6. Using your lipliner, trace over your natural lip line, and fill in your lips. Then using a lip brush, apply your lipstick in small strokes!
7. Using your brow pencil, trace and fill in your natural eyebrows. There is nothing worse then having horribly fake eyebrows!!

Nude Makeup Look!
This is a very nude makeup look with a shimmery effect, just to give
it that omph! This look is wonderful on a day to work basis, if you
don’t want something too dramatic. You only need 2 basic colours for
this, so it’s not hard at all!
Products:
1. Cleanse and moisturise your face, takes away makeup residue and leaves your face clean and even to work with.
2. Apply eye primer with your foundation brush or sponge, using a medium fluffy brush cover your entire eyelid with your nude eyeshadow and just above your crease line, using the same brush with the light brown eyeshadow, create a “C” shaped effect in your outer corner, blend it out so it’s even!
3. Using a brown eyeliner, line from your inner corner to your outer corner, you don’t need to blend it. Apply your brown eyeliner on your bottom line, I normally do it about 3/4 across, and then blend with a small stiff brush. Apply your mascara, 2-3 coats! Including the bottom lashes.

5. Set with translucent powder OR any type of loose/pressed powder, with a powder brush to set your foundation, I always use powder as dewy foundation make you look like you sweat. Then set your makeup with Ben Nye Final Seal, it's waterproof and heat resistant, it will keep your makeup fresh for HOURS!
6. Next using, your lipliner trace around your natural lip line and fill them in, it will keep the lipstick from moving. Next, using your lip brush, apply a few layers of your lipstick. Apply lipgloss if you want.
7. Using your blush brush, find where your cheekbones are, where the middle of your ear is use big strokes until your eye begins and the key is to blend! You don't heavy looking blush or bronzer!
7. Using your brow pencil, trace around your natual eyebrow and fill it in, brows can often take practice, if you have a brow gel or clear mascara that you would like to use you can.

There a several items you need to create, perfect lipstick! Ofcourse you don't need to do this everyday, but if you are going out either after work or on the weekend, this is a simple way to apply lipstick that looks wonderful!
What you need:

3. Using your lipstick brush and lipstick, fill in your lips without going over the line you've created. Make sure to do a few layers!
4. Next using your concealer stick, go around your lips and using your finger blend in, so it makes your lipstick more brighter and evens it out.

Simple Purple/Eggplant Makeup!
This is a beautiful look! You can use either the deep purple on
the lipstick like I did, OR you can go for a nude lipstick! This is one
of my favourite makeup look, it's simple but beautiful. You can also use
many different colours for this and you can also "jazz" it up.
What you need:
1. Cleanse and moisturise your face from any makeup residue or dirt.
2. Apply your eye primer or concealer, it does the same job make sure you use your colour shade. Using a medium fluffy brush, create a "C" shape at the outer corner of your eye. Using the same brush, blend your eyeshadow out. I will post pictures!
3. Using a slanted flat brush dip into your black gel eyeliner, or your black eyeliner and line your inner rim, where your eyelashes begin, it will make your eyelashes seem longer and it will just be enough black to make the purple stand out! I then coat a few lashes of mascara on my bottom and top lashes.
4. Using your foundation brush apply your face primer around your face, primer acts a barrier as it will make your foundation stay longer and it's useful for ladies who have combination and oily skin! I then use my foundation, I normally do 2 layers and you always make sure the first layer is set before applying the other, as it may get horrible...
5. I then apply my powder with a powder brush, and there a few different types: Translucent powder, loose powder and pressed powder. Whatever your prefrences are use them, I use translucent powder as I do find it gives a lasting matte finish, and it won’t affect your foundation colour.
6. I apply my blush or bronzer, somedays I do change lol. I apply that with a blush brush, find where your cheek bones are, start from the middle of your ear and end where your eye begins.
7. I then define my eyebrows with, with a shade lighter then my natural hair colour, you can go out of your way to define them, or you can just fill them in. I use a small flat brush.
8. And for the lipstick, for many women, they have their own preferences on lipstick. I would recommend using a nude, soft pink or darker pink shade. I use a a lipliner, and I define my natural lips and I also draw them in, the wax in the lipliner has a lasting power. I then use a lipliner brush, rather then the end, as it gets in those small places and fill the lips in, I go over with a few coats.
9. I finish off with Ben Nye Final Seal, and it will keep your makeup even longer!
10. Don't forget to define your eyebrows, with a brow pencil or brow eyeshadows. Start by tracing your natural eyebrows, and remember to fill them in. Eyebrows are quite hard to get even, but they are very important!
